I would like to share with you a new and cool service we built.
Allowing your users to test their client and connectivity quality is a great way to prevent problems during a live video session. A common failing scenario is when users encounter a device issue (Mic, Camera), poor video experience due to bandwidth and network condition or connectivity issues (for example corporate firewall restrictions).
When users are unaware of the above issues the user experience is very poor when discovered while in a call attempt. This tool allows users to identify such issues before they initiate a call and prevent such poor experience. Users can take active action to rectify the issue if possible like switch network if latency is too high, make sure you camera/microphone are connected etc…
We intend in our roadmap to provide this functionality as a code packaged or SDK that will provide this service via a short set of API’s, allowing application to customize this tests according to their own logic
